	HOW DOES IT WORK ?
	Upon request, we will come and meet you in order to define together what your expectations are. We will then assess the work to be done and give you a written quotation. Once you have accepted this quotation, a librarian will start work on your premises. She will categorize the books on her laptop computer, each entry indexed as in the following example : 37. CRESCENZI, Piero.- De agricultura vulgare.- Venise, no printer’s name (Alexandro Bindoni), 1519.- small in quarto, 235 pages of text and 6 pages not numbered on the contents. Binding in genuine parchment, smooth back, author’s name and title manuscript. The hinge is split and should be restored. Important stains and appearance of mould requiring disinfecting and stabilizing of the paper. Once all the books have been entered, they will be categorized in alphabetical order and numbered. 3 copies on paper and 1 copy on CD-ROM will be handed in to you before we leave. This working tool will then be at your disposal in order to utilize these antique resources in a rational manner. You will also have a precise idea of the condition of each one of these books. You may then decide to follow up on this work according to how many books are regularly added to your collection.
